Aims

To provide individuals requiring help with daily living the assistance to do so in their own homes.

To enable those individuals requiring assistance with daily living to live as independent a life as possible with dignity and respect.

How We Meet Our Aims

By providing clients with carers suitably skilled to meet the requirements of the assignment. Suitability and skills are determined through our recruitment procedures.

By enabling people to live in their own homes for as long as they wish to do so with the necessary support. As clients’ needs change, our service is responsive to those changes.

By ensuring that carers understand the need to treat clients with dignity and respect at all times.

Commission for Social Care Inspection Registration

CSCI

Convivium Care is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection as a “Small Domiciliary Care Agency” We comply with all the Standards required of an agency which does not directly employ it carers. As such we are not obliged to adhere to all the Standards that apply to those agencies who directly employ their carers, (such as the provision of training). However, in order to ensure best practice, we do adopt many Standards over and above those which are compulsory for our category of agency.  The Commission for Social Care Inspection conducted its first inspection of Convivium Care in January 2005. We received a very positive inspection report and this can be found on their web site www.csci.gov.uk
